DELAROQ

Delaroq is a line of handbags and accessories created by NYC based designer Jennifer Lyu. After considerable experience from design roles at Louis Vuitton, Prada, and 3.1 Phillip Lim, she was inspired to launch her own brand with clarity of purpose and intention.  Driven by an innate desire to reduce and simplify, she wanted to create a line of accessories that are grounded in sustainability using excess materials.  ‘Enabled by strong relationships with tanneries and factories, we are able to support production with an upcycling concept, using materials readily available that are considered industrial excess.’  The products are hence serialized as collectible limited edition pieces, avoiding the step of tanning leathers, which is the most environmentally detrimental process within leather goods manufacturing.
